♪ It’s the simple things in life we forget ♫

Never say never, they say.

One human being will change what I've set my mind to believe. His name is Raymond. Usher Raymond.

When I first heard about Usher's visit I was a bit conflicted. I wanted to go badly but the location kind of threw me off. I like Araneta Coliseum because they're very organized when they have events. Whether it be a famous rock band, a pop star or Disney's Minnie and Mickey. Plus, you get your money's worth even if the ticket's from the general admission area. The dome-shaped concert arena is more of a pro than a con.

Last week, July 09 to be clear,I was an hour late for the shindig because the traffic is just downright bizarre. Almost everyone was going to Mall of Asia, it seems. A turtle would've arrived faster. Hell, if I continue on foot I would've get there on time.

The minute I walked in MOA's ground I felt a sting of panic. There's just too many people yelling and howling it made me want to slap them. But of course, I didn't. We're all just bunch of people dying to see Usher and his 6-pack abs. It took me 10 minutes to get to my seat. The security and the real ushers and usherettes inside were no help at all. It’s difficult to find your seat with all the pushing and distraction. Distraction, meaning, when I was trying to find my seat, Usher is doing his thing on stage, lifting his shirt and touching his crotch to the tune of Nice and Slow. Niiiiice.

Good thing I was wearing my trusty old boots. I didn't feel if anyone stepped on my foot. Baka ako pa yung nakatapak without my knowledge.

The thick crowd I had to go through to get to my seat.

As much as I want to post pictures from the show, I'd rather not from fear of photo grabbing and such.

Model Behavior: Diane Kruger

I first caught a glimpse of her in Wicker Park as the graceful dancer with then teen heart rob Josh Hartnett. I started seeing more of her in red carpet events such as Oscars, Grammy's and the likes. One thing I can say about her is she dress absolutely well compared to others who sometimes look like an ostrich died on them. I believe it's slightly difficult to WOW audience in Hollywood as they've seen every gorgeous outfit grace the red carpet - and the hideous as well.

I googled her name and learned that she really did ballet in London before an accident ended her career. She pursued a career in modeling in Germany for a couple of years before she moved to Paris to concentrate on acting, and then of course, the rest is history. I have to say, why do all top models are born in Germany? Heidi Klum? And I read somewhere that Gisele Bündchen is half german. No fair. Dapat sa Pilipinas rin. *insert smiley here*

Here are some of her looks that I extremely adore:

See, not many can pull that mustard dress on the red carpet. I think she did fine.
Second dress is from Chanel's haute couture collection.

Black dress - Marchesa; Second from Valentino

Fringe boots, I like. That's my most favorite of all the outfits I've seen her wear. Less is more. And not everyone can rock an attire that simple.

Back to regular programming.

I've been contemplating whether to buy a camera or just save the stash for something more useful. See, I believe I don't have a knack for photography but I reckon I take decent pictures. I have two digital cameras which I rarely use. I have one fisheye lomo which never served its purpose. And I have a horde of cellphones with refined pixels which I have not touched since whenever. Such a waste.

Though, I'm somewhat eying on a different camera. I suppose almost everyone out there has one. But I don't have one so that doesn't make that everyone. Anyway, its the Holga series which I always see at bookstores and other shopping precincts out there. They look so yummy and cute from my end. I wanted to use one as a key chain but realized they're a tad huge to be dangling from my bag. I should've followed my instinct before buying that purple fisheye...but that was like 3 years ago.

THINK. Think. Think.

Element of...(don't wait for it).

Edward Cullen does not bear a flawlessly chiseled face. Well, for a while, he didn’t. Back then he was just a silhouette that every girl thinks of. Edward was just an empty image frozen in between pages of a paperback. But when Robert Pattinson became the face of the gentleman known as Edward, he instantly morphed into THE perfect gentleman.

It’s always Resident Hottie vs Chief of Camp Shirtless.

It’s always Team Bloodsucker vs Team Werewolves.

It's always Fangs vs Fur.

It’s always about whose side are you on? Like your life depended on it. As if the sky will fall if you make the wrong choice…when clearly, this is all make believe.

If these two men were real, Bella’s virginity would’ve been gone in a jiffy.

But what’s wrong with a little fantasy every once in a while, right?

Well, as for me. I root for the pale skinned bloke.

I like Edward not because of his diamond-something skin, or his hypnotizing voice, or his poetic-almost-fairy-tale-like lines.

I like him because he makes Bella feel secure emotionally. Financially is just a fat whopping bonus.

I like him because he would gladly catch a bullet just so Bella would live.

I like him because he could never hurt Bella. Uhm, not by choice anyway.

I like him because a matter of life and death brings him and Bella closer together.

I like him because he would rather die than live in a world where Bella does not exist.

I like him because he wholeheartedly admits that Bella is his reason for breathing.

I like him because he loves Bella unconditionally. Human or no-human. Dead or alive.

And most importantly,

I like him because he is NOT real.

Which leads to the conclusion that, in this world, we’re all just a bunch of Bellas looking for Edwards, or Edwards searching for their own Bellas.

(Jacob is obviously not real as well. I just prefer the latter.)

People say DON'T much too often.

Was cleaning some of my online chattels when I found this:

People do label us, whether we like it or not.

I just wanna get away from it all. And that's exactly what I'm gonna do.

I'm still not ready to talk.

Such a shame that most human beings feed on your distress. Yeah, most don't empathize nor sympathize. They just float for gossip and tittle-tattles.

XOXO,
I'm-no-Gossip-Girl
LITERALLY and FIGURATIVELY.
